Job description

The Quality Project Coordinator provides administrative and project management support to the quality team. The incumbent will assist in the development of presentation materials, gathering meeting materials, organizing documents and materials needed for quality managers to use with the providers, and any major project-related tasks. The incumbent will assist in the development and monitoring of the annual budget.

  • Responsible for the preparation and/or coordination of official correspondence and formal presentations that are accurate, complete, and meet quality standards for appearance and presentation.
  • Generates scheduling, correspondence, location reservation, and meeting minutes for Quality meetings as required.
  • Participates in project design meetings and proposes improvements as necessary.
  • Manages assignments related to special projects for the quality team.
  • Schedules meetings for the quality team and other participants in the organization as well as outside organizations.
  • Manages project-related documents ensuring that all materials are current, properly filed, and stored.
  • Supervise current projects and coordinate all team members to keep workflow on track.
  • Completes the quality tracker for the compilation of activities within the quality team.
  • Able to handle projects independently, timely, and accurately.
  • Recommends and implements new technologies, methodologies, processes, and procedures to support short-and long-term department goals.
  • Develops and maintains professional relationships within SOMOS, MCO, EVH practices, and other stakeholders.
  • Conducts and manages other activities as assigned.

COMPETENCIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Health Care Administration or relevant degrees
  • A minimum of 3 years of Project Management or equivalent
  • A minimum of 3 years of Healthcare experience, preferred in Quality
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office products (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Must possess a high level of professionalism and courtesy and must be able to work collaboratively with team members at all levels of the organization

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
