TEAM UP WITH US!: Our Denver office is looking to hire Audit Associates for Winter and Summer 2023.
Winter start date: January 9, 2023
Summer start date: August 7, 2023
WHAT TO EXPECT:
Audit Associates will work on all aspects of an audit from planning to execution and completion. This work will include tests or procedures performed under general supervision that allow the Firm to collect sufficient evidence to assess whether the clients’ financial statements are free of material misstatement. You will help to ensure the completion of our clients’ annual reports and interact with clients to identify and resolve audit issues.
- Assist and lead in the performance and documentation of audit procedures and preparation of workpapers
- Contribute to the completion of the audits, reviews, compilations, and various consulting engagement
- Interpret and analyze financial statement data to form conclusions and prepare client deliverables
- Thoroughly evaluate assigned areas of financial statements and identify potential points of risk
- Research and analyze pertinent client, industry, and technical matters
- Identify and perform audit procedures over the design, implementation, and effectiveness of internal controls
- Engage with client personnel, as well as the engagement team to develop further relationships
WHAT IS REQUIRED:
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future- Must be eligible to sit for the CPA exam in home office state
- Completion of a bachelor's or master's degree in accounting, finance, or related field with a graduation date between December 2022 – August 2023 preferred
- Public accounting experience preferred
- Minimum 3.0 GPA preferred
- *Denver ONLY* The Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act requires employers to disclose the pay range for job openings in Colorado. This is the typical range of pay for the position; however, actual payment may vary based on experience and skill set. Compensation Range beings at $70,000.00/year. Sign-on bonuses may also be offered as part of the compensation package.
