Business Development Representative
Job description
We’re looking for independent contractors to serve as results-driven B2B Business Development Representatives to seek out customer prospects, engage them, and close deals. You are a dollar-driven "hunter" - rather than steady base compensation, you seek the strong commission-based rewards which come with the win. This independent contractor will have the opportunity to meet and work with a recruiting firm that puts service over a sale. You build on partnerships with the local community and work alongside a team of recruiters to bring in high-ticket clients.
Responsibilities
- Generate leads from target companies through cold calling, email and social media communication with target buyers
- Perform discovery and needs analysis to understand the prospect's situation and needs
- Present, promote and sell products/services using solid arguments to map our solution to the prospect's needs
- Manage objections through solid logic and compelling messages
- Create urgency for customers to complete the sale
- Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
- Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
- Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments
- Record activity, prospect status and progress to enable sales forecasting and status reporting
- Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
- Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends
- Continuously improve through feedback
This is a 90-day 1099 contract to permanent W2 position, all applicants must be based in Tampa,FL or surrounding areas. Being accessible to attend events and functions as needed. 80%remote 20% local travel
Skills
- Proven work experience as a sales representative
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office
- Familiarity with BRM and CRM practices along with ability to build productive business professional relationships
- Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales
- Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills
- Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills
- Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs
- Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
- BS/BA degree or equivalent
Commission Based Salary: Pay: $29,803.00 - $129,454.00 per year
Job Type: Contract
