Job description
Gold Ranch Verdi is looking for an upbeat, positive individual to be a Cage Cashier
$750 Sign On Bonus; $250 after 90 day introductory period, additional $500 after six months of employment.
Summary:
Cage Cashiers are responsible for cash handling in the cage, assisting guests with promotions and purchasing cigarettes and other merchandise.
- Candidate must be over the age of 21 and able to obtain and maintain a Nevada Gaming Registration Card.
- No previous Casino experience required, we will train the right applicant.
Education/Experience:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred
Previous Cash Handling and Customer Service experience preferred
Language Ability:
Must be able to communicate effectively in verbal and written English language
Math Ability:
Excellent math skills; ability to calculate money accurately
Certificates and Licenses:
Nevada Gaming Registration
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for extended periods of time
Reaching, bending, stretching, lifting up to 50lbs
Ability to work in a noisy, smoky casino environment
Ability to work in a small, confined, office-type setting
Knowledge/Skills:
Excellent organizational abilities
Ability to handle cash, calculate accurately, analyze, and account for cash and coin
Excellent Customer Service skills
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
