Job Summary: The primary function of the CNA is to greet, room, and complete vitals for the patients prior to the Provider visit. This position may also serve as back-up to the front desk staff as needed to check in/check out patients and make future appointments.Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:
- Prepares physical set-up of rooms/clinic ; clean/sterilization of room/equipment after visit , restocks/straightens medical supplies.
- Greet and room patients
- Responsible for making a positive first impression for the medical team
- Measure and records the following patient vital signs including but not limited to: height/weight, temperature, pulse, respiration rate, blood pressure and head circumference in babies
- Check refrigerator temperature daily
- Provide wound care: cleaning wound and changing dressing
- Document in EHR/I-CARE
- Provide patient with patient education and materials
- Adhere to all policies and procedures set by management
- Weekly inventory of medical inventory
- Provide optimal quality customer service and provide feedback to management regarding the level of customer satisfaction
- This is a full time position
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Successfully completed an Illinois approved CNA training program
- Active CNA certification in IL; primary source verification will be conducted via the Illinois Department of Public Health
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification prior to hire/start
- Must be professional, have a friendly demeanor and able to carry out assigned tasks
- Must be professional and display excellent customer service skills
- One Saturday per month required
- Maintain active nursing aides in the state of IL; renew certifications every two years
- COVID-19 Vaccination required
- This position requires credentialing and privileging with our agency
