Job description

WEX is looking for an experienced ERP Programmer/Analyst to design and implement scalable business process solutions, leveraging a variety of Cloud and On-Premise technologies. In this role, you will be responsible for both technical solution and business process design in creation of Corporate Financial Technology across WEX. You will work with stakeholders across the company, as part of an agile delivery team, to enable business capabilities to support WEX’s growth strategy, using a combination of native and custom ERP development techniques.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Configure & develop solutions within PeopleSoft and other financial platforms to support critical business functions
• Collaborate with internal partners to analyze project objectives and capability requirements, including specifications for user interfaces, customized applications, and integrations
• Provide system administration support related to customized applications, user permissions, security settings, and custom objects
• Responsible for designing, developing, and testing of business process solutions for projects of moderate to significant complexity
• Employ industry best practices to deliver world-class solutions. Ensure developed solutions remain compliant with all applicable WEX standards
• Collaborate with the team to identify improvements and upgrades that will optimize processes, reduce cost, improve stability, and increase performance
• Engage with production support staff and remediate chronic and/or critical production support issues

Minimum Required Qualifications for Consideration:

• 4-year technical/information science degree or equivalent experience
• 3+ years experience with designing and developing enterprise ERP/Financial solutions on PeopleSoft or an equivalent ERP application
• Minimum 3+ years of experience with web services (SOAP or REST)
• Possess excellent software architecture, design, and problem solving skills
• Ability to influence and communicate effectively with non-technical audiences
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• PeopleSoft GL, AP, and AR experience strongly preferred
• Cloud ERP experience with technologies like Oracle Cloud ERP and/or Workday
• Expertise with writing SQL queries
• Experience with tools and processes promoting automated DevOps in a cloud environment
• Experience in working with highly transactional, e-commerce, or finance related industry
• Experience with advanced PeopleSoft integration techniques, and/or ETL frameworks

The base pay range represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position. Actual pay rates will vary and will be based on various factors, such as your qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. Base pay is one component of WEX's total compensation package. Most sales positions are eligible for commission under the terms of an applicable plan. Non-sales roles are typically eligible for a quarterly or annual bonus based on their role and applicable plan.
