Gem Care is seeking General Laborers for a metal fabrication client in East Knoxville, TN.
Ever wonder how to get experience in a field you want to enter into and everyone is requiring experience to enter? This is the job you are waiting on. This position is general labor with no experience required. Shifts with various hours available. Jump on board, get a couple years experience with an established company, and see where this leads you. This company also offers the ability to climb their ladder after your 90 days. You may stay for 10-20 years. Who knows until you try?
Associates will be responsible for cleaning/prepping steel for production use. Associate can expect to use the following in their position: wire brushes, rags, solvents, grinders, hand tools, etc.
Pay rate is $14.00/hr. Positions are temp-to-hire after 90 days.
Opportunities to advance quickly upon hire are available. Candidate is also eligible for a comprehensive benefits package upon hire. Associates will get 2 breaks and 1 lunch. Vending machines and designated smoking areas are onsite. 3 shifts are available:
Day shift 7:00 AM-5:30 PM (Monday-Thursday, OT available)
Night shift 6:00 PM-4:30 AM (Monday-Thursday) 4 PM - 12 AM (Friday, OT available)
Weekend shift- 7:00 AM-8:30 PM (F,S,S)
Job Requirements:
Must be able to lift/move up to 50 lbs.
Steel toed shoes, safety glasses
Must be able to pass a 12-panel drug screen
