Position Overview: The Novelis HR Services team is seeking a HR Coordinator to join a team transforming the HR operating model and directly supporting employee life cycle activities and processes from recruiting to retirement . In this critical role, the selected candidate will report to the Manager, HR Services and be a part of a growing team of HR professionals focused on delivering excellence and driving engagement. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a wide range of Human Resources services and transactions including routine employee lifecycle transactions, responding to HR, employee, and manager queries with high levels of customer satisfaction, and performing data entry related to employee administration for Novelis locations across the US and Canada. This position will act as a primary point of interaction for HR, employees, and managers and act as a knowledgeable, trusted, and accurate partner who is responsible for providing superior customer service as part of the employee experience. Responsibilities & Qualifications: Responsibilities:- Perform HR transactional administrative services for diverse groups of internal customer groups including HR, Managers, and Employees
- Complete assigned work within agreed upon deadlines and service level agreements
- Adhere to predefined processes and procedures following guidance outlined in standard operating procedures and knowledge bases
- Utilize required technology and tools to process requests
- Operate in adherence to Company policy, legislation, and Collective Bargaining Agreements
- Provide guidance to employees and managers on Novelis HR policy and practice
- Previous work experience in an operations / contact center environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with HR systems
- Demonstrated excellence in customer service
- Self-motivated to drive results and complete tasks independently
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Detail oriented
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work with diverse personalities and function in a team environment
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information situations both the company’s and with individual employees
- Demonstrated conflict resolution and negotiation skills
- Excellent ability to build and maintain relationships and influence across all levels of the organization
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or related field
- Experience in Human Capital Management technologies such as PeopleSoft, ServiceNow, iCIMS, UKG
- Bilingual
