Job Description
Under direction of the Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor, this position must be skilled in all facets of Industrial Maintenance Mechanical operations.
He / She will be responsible for performing maintenance and repair duties affecting efficient operations. Performs various duties, including measurements, layout, fabrication, installation, and repairs; and ensures safety of self, others, and equipment in all work areas.
Qualifications
Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school in the related field along with 1-year related experience and training; or equivalent combination of education and experience equal to 4 years.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
