Who You'll Work WithYou will be based in our NYC (3WTC) office as part of our growing Firm Services Professional Recruiting team. You’ll have the opportunity to develop your recruiting career by partnering with different teams which help our internal stakeholders find and attract the talent they need. Our people are our greatest strength. We’re passionate about helping candidates find their fit, attracting a diverse array of talent and recruiting individuals who create impact and contribute to our collaborative culture. Within experienced professional hiring, we’re searching for the world’s best colleagues and mentors at the top of their fields who will take on the world’s toughest challenges. The people you meet and hire at McKinsey will be your coworkers, colleagues, mentors, peers – and because of the collaborative, supportive nature of the culture, people here make friends for life, the connections you make and the experiences you share will last the rest of your career, wherever it takes you. Our culture is casual, and social with an emphasis on education and innovation. We have the freedom to try new ideas, experiment and are expected to be constantly learning and growing. There is also a strong emphasis on mentoring others in the group, enabling others to grow and learn.
What You'll DoYou will help identify, attract and assess candidates for the firm’s internal hiring needs. In this role, you will begin to develop a keen understanding of the market to help reach challenging hiring targets, develop profiles and specifications and identify and recommend improvement opportunities. You will participate in planning, coordinating and driving hiring activities. You will be responsible for learning the full life cycle recruiting process by turning profile requirements into an effective sourcing strategy using an appropriate combination of direct sourcing, posting and referrals to approach, attract and develop candidate interest. You will then work hand in hand with experienced recruiters, candidates and internal clients. You will also be involved and be responsible for broader value-add projects.
