Robert Half is seeking a hardworking Network Engineer who is familiar with networking hardware and software. Are you a driven problem solver with a strong knowledge of interfacing, security, Internet protocols, server, and network infrastructure? Then we have the right Network Engineer position you will love. This Network Engineer role is located in New York, New York and is a permanent opportunity.Your responsibilities
- Ensure a secure transfer of data to various locations via internal and external networks
- Deliver high-level support and technical expertise in networking technology like hardware, hubs, bridges and routers
- Collaborate closely with vendors, clients, carriers and technical staff on implementing, optimizing, and consistently managing of networks
- Utilize traditional and creative methods to develop enterprise data, voice, and video networks
- Initiate and implement network test facilities
- Cisco Routers experience required
- Foundational knowledge in network design
- Solid understanding of Cisco Unity
- Strong familiarity with Firewall
- Demonstrated knowledge of Wireless
- Adeptness in switches
- Experience with routers
- Networking experience
- Familiar with network design and implementation strategies
