SUMMARY
The Operation Associate role is responsible for labeling, inspecting, packaging final container products, cleaning and supporting our laboratory, and helping our shipping department.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Provides general production and lab support for the creation and distribution of products. This includes utilizing shake trays to verify and inspect the product before placing it into final containers. Additionally, may apply wrapping, labels, and identification as directed
- Willingness to perform different tasks as business needs require.
- Supports the shipment of goods produced and the received goods and supplies to be used in or to aid in the production/storage of goods destined for sale to our customer base.
- Reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
- Maintains the work area and equipment, including organizing and cleaning as prescribed by standard operation procedures (SOP) and safety regulations.
- Prepares laboratory, equipment, and facilities for daily operational use.
- Utilizes general lab equipment and assists technicians with daily duties and tasks.

QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or GED, or equivalent years of experience
- Flexible for days and weekends

- Must be a team a “team player.” This person needs to enjoy working closely with other staff members and have the ability to be flexible, adaptive, and positive in interactions.

- Must be able to reach overhead, climb ladders or stairs, lift/carry or push/pull heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.).
- Must have the energy and physical stamina to move freely about and be able to sit or stand for long periods (up to 2 hours).
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus to perform the essential functions.
- Be able to pass a “Fit Test” to be able to wear a respirator (N-95)
