Job Summary:
The CBS Sports Network Studio Operations Coordinator primary role will be to manage the day-to-day logistical and operational requirements of the daily simulcast radio show ‘Boomer & Gio’, which airs Monday-Friday mornings on CBSSN. This position will also assist the studio production team as needed, such as processing payroll and booking travel. The Operations Coordinator will report to the Senior Director, Studio Production Management.
Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day studio logistical and operational requirements as determined by specific show needs. Maintain daily quality control of studio product. (Current show is Boomer & Gio Radio Show simulcast on CBSSN)
Coordinate crew schedules to ensure all show operational requirements are facilitated. Facilitate specific show production requirements in a cost-effective manner, including:
Schedule coordination with production
Daily studio schedule and contact sheet publication
Crew catering and crew calls
Participate in the development of show estimates and budgets; and monitor and report on final costs.
Manage and process weekly freelance payroll
Invoice processing and expense tracking
Manage travel and logistics for studio talent & production personnel
Trouble-shoot and correct event situations as needed.
Experience & Skills:
2 to 3 years operations experience in a television environment
Willing to work non-traditional business days and hours
Excellent organizational skills
Strong communication skills
