Position Summary
Temporary role with high potential to go permanent
The Patient Sitter provides support keeping patients safe for a specified population that meets detailed criteria. Observe patients and communicate with unit staff to ensure our patients are safe. This employee will be working in a fast-paced environment.
Shifts:
7pm-7am 12 Hour Shift
36 hours+ with option to get overtime
Shift Differentials provided for working Nights on top of your based pay
Qualifications -
High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent experience) and 1 year relevant experience
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Demonstrates adequate skills in all forms of communication. Works well with others in a spirit of teamwork and cooperation. Exhibits specific attitudes, sense of ownership, and ensures departmental commitment to service excellence.
Adheres to established standards, policies and procedures, and protocols. Supports the mission and vision of the facility.
Maintains education and development appropriate for position.
Completes position responsibilities by following established guidelines and protocols within the appropriate time frame.
Performs specific job functions at an acceptable level.
Performs specific management/supervisory skills at an acceptable level.
Performs mutually agreed upon goals and objectives based on strategic initiatives.
Identifies and communicates safety concerns to the unit staff in the appropriate time frame per protocol.
Physical Requirements/Strengths needed & Physical Demands:
- Light Work category requiring exertion up to 20 lbs. of force occasionally and uses negligible amounts of force to move objects.

- Occasional: Standing: Remaining on one's feet without moving.
- Occasional: Walking: Moving about on foot.
- Occasional: Lifting under 35 lbs: Raising and lowering objects under 35 lbs from one level to another
- Occasional: Lifting over 35 lbs: Raising and lowering objects from one level to another, includes upward pulling over 35 lbs, with help of coworkers or assistive device
- Occasional: Carrying under 35 lbs: Transporting an object holding in hands, arms, or shoulders, with help of coworkers or assistive device.
- Occasional: Push/Pull: Exerting force to move objects away from or toward.
- Occasional: Bending/Stooping: Trunk bending downward and forward by bending spine at waist requiring full use of lower extremities and back muscles
- Occasional: Balancing: Maintaining body equilibrium to prevent falling when walking, standing, crouching, or maneuvering self, patient and equipment simultaneously while working in large and small spaces
- Occasional: Climbing: Ascending or descending stairs/ramps using feet and legs and/or hands and arms.
- Occasional: Kneeling: Bending legs at knees to come to rest on knee or knees.
- Occasional: Crouching/Squatting: Bending body downward and forward by bending legs and spine. Reaching above shoulders: Extending arms in any direction above shoulders.

You will be evaluating our network's performance, collaborating with our IT team to increase network capacity, and overseeing network security. This position will report into Corporate Headquarters based in Stamford, CT and will require flexibility to work both onsite as well as remote.<\u002Fp>\n

Summary of Key Job Responsibilities:<\u002Fb><\u002Fp>\n \n - Determining company needs and coordinating the development and maintenance of network infrastructures with the IT team.<\u002Fli>\n
- Ensuring secure and stable server connectivity and testing network protocols.<\u002Fli>\n
- Creating internet domains and optimizing intranet performance.<\u002Fli>\n
- Testing data exchange and communication between computers, routers, modems, and servers.<\u002Fli>\n
- Installing, updating, and configuring end-user networking accessories.<\u002Fli>\n
- Monitoring server capacity and performance to keep up with demand in online traffic.<\u002Fli>\n
- Running diagnostic tests and performing repairs, as well as developing backup, archiving, and data retrieval procedures.<\u002Fli>\n
- Training junior IT staff, preparing user manuals, and providing remote or onsite technical support.<\u002Fli>\n
- Enhancing network security, as well as documenting network processes and cabling layouts.<\u002Fli>\n
- Keeping informed of developments in network technologies and infrastructure. Responsible to meet or exceed all goals and key performance indicators (KPIs).<\u002Fli>\n

- A minimum of two years' experience as a network specialist.<\u002Fli>\n
- Extensive knowledge of network connectivity, technologies, protocols, and security.<\u002Fli>\n
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.<\u002Fli>\n

- Must be able to travel, as required by the Company in its sole discretion, for occasional meetings and conferences using various forms of transportation. <\u002Fli>\n
- Consistent ability to work both remotely and report into Corporate Headquarters or designated retail touchpoint, as required and in accordance with Lovesac policies, CDC and State Guidelines.<\u002Fli>\n
