OVERVIEW

Perfetti Van Melle - one of the world's largest manufacturers and distributors of confectionery and chewing gum with global brands that are being enjoyed in more than 150 countries worldwide - is seeking for a passionate and enthusiastic Recruiting Manager to join our Human Resources team in Erlanger, KY (near the Cincinnati / NKY airport). The primary focus of this role is to fill open Professional/Salaried roles for the US business.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

The Recruiting Manager is the full cycle recruiting expert, comfortable working with candidates to fill a broad range of roles, from entry level to executive. This role is responsible for understanding business needs and open positions, sourcing candidates quickly and providing an excellent candidate experience that excites and motivates candidates into action. Specific responsibilities for this role include:

  • Responsible for full-cycle recruiting for multiple requisitions at once; including drafting and posting job ads, sourcing passive candidates, interviewing and screening potential candidates to ensure they meet employment and position qualifications, scheduling interviews/coordinating appointments and administering new hire paperwork as needed
  • Liaising with HR colleagues and company department heads to anticipate and plan for future recruitment needs
  • Build recruiting strategies, sourcing channels and drive execution to meet annual hiring goals
  • Build partnerships with community organizations and targeted schools to generate candidate interest
  • Manage contractual relationships with Staffing organizations (when needed) for roles that are difficult to fill
  • Generate and maintain a pipeline of qualified and diverse candidates using proven and creative methods
  • Utilize and advance the employer value proposition
  • Track goals, metrics and performance of the hiring cycle; regularly communicate status and results. Monitor recruitment metrics to identify and resolve issues affecting recruiting procedures
  • Cultivate a positive candidate experience from application to on-boarding, including timely communication and follow up
  • Lead candidate debriefs with interviewers and business partners, voicing opinions and influencing offer decisions to secure top talent
  • Maintain standards, policies and procedures, and data integrity with ATS, dashboards, and HRIS
  • Support company’s Affirmative Action plan and stay current on equal opportunity and affirmative action regulations to ensure compliance in accordance with government requirements

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

  • Bachelors degree preferred
  • 3+ years of relevant recruiting experience
  • Experience working with recruiting tools and systems, including applicant tracking systems, resume databases, internet sourcing tools
  • Ability to make sound decisions quickly and efficiently
  • Knowledge of federal and state regulations related to recruiting, employment, EEO, and Affirmative Action
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with proven ability to communicate effectively at all levels within an organization
  • Service oriented mind set, excellent written as well as oral communication skills
  • Ability to effectively and professionally sell company benefits and employer brand to applicants
  • Attention to detail, and ability to effectively manage a high volume of tasks related to the filling multiple job requisitions
  • Problem solving and analytical skills
