Advanced Decision Vectors, LLC (ADV) is seeking SharePoint Specialist to perform the full range of tasks and activities involved in developing, supporting and administering SharePoint-based software applications. The specialist will be involved in the full project development lifecycle, including user requirements analysis, logical/physical design and development, quality assurance testing, training and implementation. Additionally, the specialist will participate in software development or system upgrade activities and projects. The Specialist will be responsible for responding to any SharePoint related problems or issues at the site. Also, responsible for the support of application software using multiple programming languages.

The qualified candidate should be knowledgeable of the capabilities and limitations of operating within the environment and has experience in information architecture and systems engineering processes. The specialist should be proficient in PowerApps, Flows, PHP, Drupal and JAVA to design, build and implement intranet web pages and customized work flows in order to assist the firm in accomplishing the four primary goals of increasing efficiencies, establishing workflows, expanding metrics reporting, and executing training across the firms programs. The specialist will should have experience with Microsoft Office 365/SharePoint Technology and experience developing business solutions in Office 365 environment.

Duties:

  • Developing, documenting, and implementing a SharePoint information architecture and workflows based on industry best practices that assist in streamlining processes, sharing knowledge among the business offices, facilities retrieval of information
  • Assist in development of standardized procedures and day-to-day implementation of unit workflows and SharePoint plans, providing input as necessary
  • Develop and document continuous learning programs for business unit users of the Microsoft Office 365 environment
  • Train IT staff and program staff in the maintenance of the developed SharePoint solutions
  • Provide monthly Progress Reports to the Executive Team to include progress status for all components; provide bi-weekly status updates in addition to formal Progress Reports.
  • Communicate the project status, work closely with technical points of contact,
  • Develop presentations and provide project updates to stakeholders and team members and as necessary to all other stakeholders, including joining conference calls with impacted groups
  • Provide meeting support, e.g., scheduling, coordinating, documenting key program decisions/findings, tracking and reporting action items, updating databases, and generating reports
  • Provide a final report once all work streams have concluded.
  • Provide services in planning, developing and maintaining an enterprise level SharePoint Collaboration System (SPCS) solution
  • Provide development services in SharePoint Server 2016 to include imaging, document management, automated workflow, collaboration, messaging, and content management
  • Develop custom web parts and integrating enterprise content with SharePoint to include content indexing, personalization, workflow and restricting access to content
  • Develop software documentation such as design documents, version description documents and user manuals
  • Collaborate with technical staff to understand and develop resolutions to software problems

Qualifications:

  • Experience in developing applications around the core concepts of business process management, collaboration, business intelligence and/or enterprise content management.
  • Ability to design and customize SharePoint solutions along with overseeing architectural design, integration of content management, portals, collaboration, business processes as well as assisting with troubleshooting and debugging SharePoint sites.
  • Assist in developing templates, customized processes, using SharePoint Designer, InfoPath, Java Script, Drupal, jQuery, and HTML code.
  • Assist with project development, defining technical requirements and developing solutions to include on-going support for SharePoint applications and customizing SharePoint solutions and managing site permissions.
  • Utilize the trouble ticket system within SharePoint and resolve problem tickets submitted by users associated with SharePoint issues.
  • Assist in the development of templates, tutorials, and provide desk-side training support as needed.

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT field of study
  • 3 - 5 years of related experience of full life cycle SharePoint development and deployment
  • A minimum of (3) three years’ experience in HTML, JQuery, JavaScript, SharePoint Design, SharePoint workflows, Cascading Style Sheets, and SharePoint administration to include granting access and managing permissions.
  • Experience in developing applications around the core concepts of business process management, collaboration, business intelligence and/or enterprise content management.
  • Proven experience as a SharePoint SME
  • SharePoint 2013 web services experience; SharePoint 2016 a plus
  • Experience developing custom web parts and integrating enterprise content, search indexing, customization, workflow and permissions
  • Experience with .NET, PHP, Drupal or JAVA software technologies
  • Experience using Oracle, SQL Server Databases
  • Experience with HTML and CSS

Desired Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of Agile Development best practices
  • Experience using SharePoint Designer/Visual Studio
  • Experience with software development life cycle and Agile methodologies
  • Experience with document management systems
  • Familiarity with Web Services, InfoPath, WebParts, AJAX, and Active Directory
  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance

Certification:

  • Microsoft Certified Exams MS-300, MS-301, and MB-200 is a plus
  • PMP is a plus
