LOCATION Santa Ana, California (Hybrid Schedule- 2 days remote/3 days on-site)

· Create, deliver products and services as well as facilitate and implement processes to support Charitable Ventures foundation client partners?

Job Summary
The Specialist, Foundation Services is an exciting opportunity to support a major equity and justice-focused national health foundation with operations support, ensuring that deadlines and deliverables are being met, scheduling, planning, and running meetings with internal and external partners to accomplish these deliverables, communicating frequently and regularly with the client and Charitable Ventures staff, and performing providing the client with direct consulting services in areas such as evaluation, planning, and communications.
In addition, the Specialist, Foundation Services provides expert services, including planning, logistics, operations, and evaluation, for other foundation partners within our Social Impact Consulting team. Working both collaboratively and independently under minimal supervision, the Specialist, Foundation Services may also delegate and assign work to coordinators or other staff members as appropriate.
What are the desired qualifications?
Education:
Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred and advanced degree in relevant field preferred.
Experience:
· Lived community experience with commitment to equity and justice required
· Five (5) years of experience in the nonprofit field required, with at least three (3) years of experience working for or with philanthropic foundations
· Demonstrable skills in project management required
· At least three (3) years of experience in at least one of the following areas in a nonprofit setting: marketing and communications, evaluation, strategic planning, event planning.
· Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required
Compensation Commensurate with experience, education, and market ($32.50 to $33.50 per hour)
