What will you do?BASIC FUNCTION
Selling tickets to events at Madison Square Garden, The Theater at Madison Square Garden, Radio City Music Hall and the Beacon Theatre. Candidate will be friendly, upbeat and helpful, providing customers with information and while conducting ticket transactions in a professional and accurate manner.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Conduct Ticket sales, exchanges & refunds as needed. Remain current in ticket system operation Remain familiar with events on sale, ticket discounts and how to access them. Must balance sales activity and revenue on a regular basis. Assist Dept. Lead in counting money and preparing bank deposit and end of day reports Assist Inventory Department, processing group and season ticket orders Assist reservation Department distributing Will Call orders to customers Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
SCOPE
The ticket purchase process is often the first point of contact to the customer. Making the purchase a pleasant experience while providing accurate and relevant information is the first step to a positive event attendance experience.
What do you need to succeed?
QUALIFICATIONS Computer skills, ticket system expertise, customer service skills, Money handling skills. Honesty and integrity are essential to this position.
