Overview: Fear Free Certified. We welcome New Grads! Mohawk Alley Animal Hospital is looking for a full-time Veterinarian. We have wonderful, supportive doctors that work as a team and our combined staff has close to 20 years experience. We are a large practice for small animals. We consider ourselves a teaching hospital and are supportive, collaborative and believe in a team-oriented attitude. We have a large staff with a doctor to staff ratio of 1:2. We're open 7 days a week with an ideal shift of four days from 8am-6pm including one weekend day. We provide a full range of general practice services for dogs & cats including Dental Radiology, Digital Radiology, Ultrasound Unit, Fear Free Certified Staff, GP practices: Referral/Emergency Facility easily accessible to client base.Under our mentorship program you will begin by shadowing, then taking on one hour appointments and receive one-on-one training in surgery and dentistry, with radiology interprepretation available.
We are located in Echo Park which is known for being a little quirky, culturally diverse with unique restaurants including the renowned late-night taco trucks. Your choice of activities are endless. Echo Park Lake has a path you can trek or even rent a paddle boat. The proximity to beaches, mountains, entertainment and LA Dodgers Stadium should keep you busy for a while! It's densely populated hills are packed with duplexes, apartment buildings, and bungalows with Silver Lake, Pasadena, Glendale close by.
