This is a C-suite position that is responsible for developing and implementing human resources policies, procedures, and best practices; identifying and implementing strategic goals for HR that will support the company’s strategic plan including talent acquisition, development and management, compensation, and rewards.

About the position:
- Be the advisor on employee relations, staffing, performance management, diversity, talent management, equal opportunity employment, pay equity, compensation structure, benefits, and succession planning
- Conduct compensation analysis
- Guide the HR team and assist with resolution of HR, compensation, and benefits issues.
- Contribute to investigating unlawful harassment and discrimination complaints
What’s needed to qualify?
- A trustworthy person that maintains confidentiality and keeps the company’s best interests in mind, along with looking out for the employees
- Excellent at listening and solving people issues
- A dedicated professional who thinks and acts like an owner
- Experience in strategic planning
- Ability to strengthen an HR department with professional staff who conduct themselves like owners
- Able to handle rapid growth in terms of hiring and training
- Experience with compensation, benefits, and reward planning
- 8+ years of experience as an HR manager, with at least 3 years in a C-suite role
- Experience in managing in a union environment is desired
- Experience in working with a construction company is desired
- SPHR is desired
Base compensation is DOE. Base range is $220,000-300,000 with very strong bonus potential as well.
