Warehouse Manager 1st Shift DIRECT HIRE $109K in Natick, MA

Duties:

• Plan, organize, and direct day-to-day warehouse operations to exceed our customers' expectations
• Responsible for receiving, inventory controls, outbound logistics, and management of 3PL partners to ensure product quality and commercial goals are met.
• Strategically manage warehouse in compliance with the company policies and vision
• Setup warehouse layout and ensure efficient space utilization
• Adhere to all warehousing, handling, and shipping legislation requirements
• Maintain standards of health, safety, and security
• Manage stock control and reconcile with SAP/ERP
• Liaise with clients, suppliers, and transport companies
• Recruit, select, orient, coach, and motivate employees
• Increase on-time delivery while minimizing unnecessary costs and improving quality standards
• Allocate resources effectively and fully utilize assets to produce optimal results
• Monitor warehouse operations and trigger corrective actions when required
• Share a trusting relationship with the workgroup and recruit, manage, and develop warehouse staff
• Develop systems and processes that track and optimize productivity and standards, metrics, and performance targets to ensure effective return on assets
• Evaluate overall performance by gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data and metrics

Qualifications:

• Proven work experience as a Warehouse Manager specializing in International Shipping
• Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices
• Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives
• Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• Hands-on experience with SAP or related systems
• Leadership skills and ability to manage staff
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
• Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills
• Ability to create accountability and lead by example
• Strong team building, decision-making, and people management skills
• Experience in the role and/or BS degree in a related field
